To provide an opportunity for parishioners to experience a meditative form of prayer and spirituality
The Archdiocesan Centre for Meditation (Contemplative Prayer), was established with the blessing of Cardinal Tom Williams and has been operating in St Theresa’s Parish since early days of the new millennium.
Listening to recorded messages, reflection of the writings of spiritual and theological writers the group strives to become more aware of the movement of God in their lives. Through contemplative prayer they look for ways to more and more be a living model and witness of Jesus Christ in our world.
Meetings are held in a parishioner’s home on a weekly basis.
